Daily Prayer: 05/19

Psalm 18:1-2. “I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” We express our love to you, O Lord, and recount the many ways that you have blessed us in all phases of our lives.

You are our daily strength for we could not rise to the heights of joy in our own.

You are our rock of stability for underneath our feet the ground can crumble.

You are our fortress to keep the outside pressures from crushing us.

You are our deliverer in circumstances that have no human answer.

You are our God and we are convinced that there is no other.

You are our refuge for we come to you and find protection.

You are our shield that deflects the fiery darts of the evil one.

You are our salvation for you have redeemed our lives from destruction.

You are our stronghold that has broken the strongholds in our lives.

Praise be to your name! Praise be to Jesus who was and is all of this incarnate to us.
