Psalm 18:33,35-36 “He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great. You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.” Thank you, Lord, for the many blessings of the Christian walk. You guide us so clearly that our feet can step in your steps as you go before us. Even when you lead us to the high places that are dangerous, you make our steps secure. You shield us from many things that we do not even know about. You support us when we weaken and are gentle with us when we fail.
Were it not for your gentleness we would be afraid of you and could not love you as our Heavenly Father. Like we help our children when they are learning to walk, you help us when we are learning the walk of faith. You help our steps to be secure.
We want to walk this day to someone in need and carry your love so that when they see us they are reminded of you. Speak through us the hope that someone needs to hear. Our prayer is in the name of Jesus, our blessed hope.
Amen
