Mrs. Martha Alice Ellis: Obituary

Mrs. Martha Alice Ellis age 85 of Ellijay, GA died Sunday May 24, 2015. Mrs. Ellis was born January 30, 1930 in Fannin County, daughter of the late, Daniel and Oma Orton Stewart. She retired from Robert Shaw and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rev. Earl Ellis; son, Bill Ellis; granddaughter, Jessica Ellis,brothers and sisters.

Survivors Include: son and daughter in-law, Danny and Darlene Ellis, of Ellijay, GA; daughter and son in-law, Pauline and William Parks, Linda and Leonard Mayfield, and Tammy and Ricky Mayfield, all of Ellijay, GA; Special friends, Bill and Pearl Davis, Roger & Ann Futch and Joan Weaver; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May 26th at 3pm from the Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Emmett Burgess officiating. Interment will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday May 25th from 10am until 9pm at the funeral home.
