Mrs. Darlene G. Pendley age 49 of Ellijay died Thursday May 28, 2015. Mrs. Pendley was born August 12, 1965 in Braselton, Ga to LeRoy Gooch and the late Bertha Hightower Gooch. She was employed by Jackson County and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her mother, sister: Becky Gooch, and mother-in-law, Muriel Pendley.
Survivors include: Husband: Raymond Pendley, children: Jason and Amanda Petty John, Bobby and Melissa Pendley, Jill and Jerry Hyde, Kelly Pendley all of Ellijay,, Whitney Murphy, Cornelia , Father: Leroy Gooch, Maysville, Brother; Mike Gooch, Talmo, Sister: Vickie Robinson, Gillsville, Father-in-law: Theola Ray Pendley,7 grandchildren serveral nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Saturday from 3 until 9pm at the funeral home.
