Mrs. Jessie Ova Lee Goble Chastain: Obituary

Mrs. Jessie Ova Lee Goble Chastain age 87 of East Ellijay, GA died Monday June 1, 2015. Mrs. Chastain was born May 22, 1928 in Gilmer County, daughter of the late, Jack and Rosetta Padgett Goble. She was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Chastain and daughter, Darlene Chastain.

Survivors Include: son, Ricky Chastain, of Ellijay, GA; brother, Gene Goble, of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Charlcie Brewer and Geraldine Parks, both of Ellijay, GA; 3 grandchildren, Heather Smith, of Jasper, Ga, Misty Chastain, of Talking Rock, GA and Savannah Chastain, of Ellijay, GA; 4 great grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Kaylee Smith, Krystana Foster and Emma Chastain.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday June 3rd at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. John Page officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday June 2nd from 10am until 9pm at the funeral home.
