Mrs. Lizzie Grant: Obiturary

Mrs. Lizzie Grant age 94 of Ellijay, GA died Friday June 5, 2015. Mrs. Grant was born February 24, 1921 in Cobb Co., she is the daughter of the late, William Harrison and Clara Elizabeth Pruitt McGehee. She was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs. Grant is preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses S. Grant; brothers, Henry McGehee and George McGehee; sisters, Laura Sexton, Loris Page and Rosa Mae Sexton. Survivors Include: sons, Wimp Grant, of Ellijay, GA, Billy Grant, of Ellijay, GA, Vernie Grant, of Ellijay, GA and Charles Grant, of Ashville, NC; daughters, Ellen Stover, of Mableton, GA, Florence Bennett, of Acworth, GA and Betty Ensslin, of Mableton, GA; brother, Webb McGehee; 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday June 7th at 4pm from the New Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Nealey and Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday June 6th from 5pm till 8pm.

The family request no food be brought to the funeral home.
