A Legacy

Opinion by George McClellan:Our feckless alleged president has demonstrated yet again his incompetency as a leader of anything when he admitted he had no strategy agains ISIL; then he sets about blaming others for his deficiency. But, was it a deficiency or an intended act? Note that Obama uses the term “ISIL” when referring to them. What appears to be a trivial matter of syntax, is not. There is an important note of difference between ISIS and ISIL that must be understood. The “L” in ISIL stands for the “Levant”. The Levant encompasses all that portion of Mesopotamia not now already under their control, that is Jordan, Israel, Lebanon and Gaza. It is Obama’s subtle way of acknowledging he knows that fact. Did he not once say that he would stand with Islam if that was the way the wind blew, or words near that? That will be Obama’s legacy.

ISIS or ISIL, will certainly not stop at the borders of Syria or Iraq and, if Progressives are still controlling Americas foreign policy, (think Clinton) then most assuredly ISIS will accelerate its push south to claim the Levant, i.e.: Israel and Jordan. And, once those countries have been subdued and purged of all non-believers, then they will turn their greedy eyes toward Turkey. This may take decades. It will be bloody and in the end, as non conclusive as it has always been. It will be decades of warfare. That too will be Obama’s legacy.

ISIS speaks about recreating a new Caliphate, rather like Hitler’s new Third Reich. History, if we read it, informs us that Turkey was once itself a Caliphate. They called themselves the Ottoman Empire and it expired at the end of WW1. They were Islamic, they were corrupt, but they did last for centuries. In their period of growth they met their fiercest resistance only from the Christian Orthodox Serbians. Their European expansion plans ended at the gates of Vienna.

Today, only Albania, Bosnia/Herzegovina, and Bulgaria, since the end of WW2, have remained basically secular Islamic countries, powerless leftovers from the Ottoman Era. Today the new Caliphate representatives are there re-energizing the old Islamic demands of Shari’ah Law. Neither do I forget to include the centuries long Islamic occupation of Christian Spain, now another example of Islamic history and, the Islamics now want it back too.

But, back to the present. Christians may recognize these events as precursors to Armageddon. Naturally, Israel will not fall easily to the hoards of Islamic fighters seeking death in battle, but by sheer numbers they will be overrun. With friends like Obama’s America, who needs enemies?

Leading from behind, Obama is quietly facilitating the importation of middle-eastern denizens of Shari’ah Law right into the heart of our communities. While doing so, judging by Obama’s foreign policy failures (?), he is moving America to the brink of extinction making us irrelevant to the worlds violent changing forces, indeed, making the USA a certain victim of those violent changing forces. If you haven’t guessed, it’s already here and it’s Obama’s doing. His legacy!

Consider the Fast and Furious debacle. In hind sight I now see it as a perfectly run operation designed to fit into Obama’s destroy America agenda. By running arms, to criminals south of the border, they create mayhem and murder leaving the BATF as his agency to blame. Then, he attacks the 2nd Amendment and facilitate the importation of thousands of ‘poor, innocent children afraid to remain in their countries because of the violence.’ Let them come here and, by the way, they can bring their families. That will also be Obama’s legacy. Time to do something!

Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go do something about it.
