Mrs. Kathie Stanley Queen age 58 of Ellijay died Friday June 12, 2015. Mrs. Stanley was born June 26, 1956 in Rome, GA the daughter of the late Lewis and Florence Mann Stanley. She attended Gilmer High School, worked for Springs Industries and was a member of the Ellijay Church of Christ.

Survivors include: Husband: Kevin Queen, children, Terry Prater, Ellijay, Jeffery Prater, Alpharetta, Jessica Key, Alpharetta, Mikayla Queen, Ellijay. Brothers; Ray Stanley, Chatsworth, Jim Stanley, Hendersonville, TN sister: Jean Forbes,Ellijay, 2 grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister David Mullins officiating. Interment will be in the Stanley Church of Christ cemetery in Fannin County.

The family will meet with friends Sunday from 2 until 9pm at the funeral home.
