Mr. Harold E. Lowman: Obituary

Mr. Harold E. Lowman age 79 of Ellijay, GA passed Monday June 15, 2015. Mr. Lowman was born September 15, 1934 in Gilmer County, son of the late, Freeman and Elsie Norton Lowman. He was a Gilmer County High School Graduate and a Son of the American Legion Post 82. He was truck driver for many years and retired from the trucking industry in 1996.

Survivors Include: sons and daughters in-law, Glen and Darlene Lowman, of Stedman, NC, Gary and Chizako Lowman, of Dover, DE, Curtis and Vivian Lowman, of Clinton, NC; brothers, Hollis Lowman, of Ellijay, GA and Hoyle Lowman, of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Helen Wilson, of Woodbridge, VA, Hassie Mae Mooney, of Decatur, GA, Hatti Faye Newberry, of Ellijay, GA and Hangela Norton, of Ellijay, GA; life partner, Marcia Greenwood, of Talking Rock, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer VanScyoc, Jeremy Lowman, Justicia Carson, Ashley Arrabal, Destini Waters, Tiffany Wondrasek, Bradley Lowman and Amber Lowman; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 20th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in the East New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday June 19th from 5pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
