Betty J. West, age 81 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at North Georgia Medical Center in Ellijay, Georgia. A member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, born October 29, 1933 to her late parents Frank and Nell Burnett Holland in Jasper, Georgia. Mrs. West was self employed in nursing care, providing needs for the elderly.
Survivors include sons, Donnie West and Martin Leonard West of Ellijay, GA, also sisters, Audry Lillard of Ellijay, GA and Jannett Stone of Jasper, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday June 28th, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Hood and Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. Graveside Interment Service will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roger Kincaid, David Kincaid, James Kincaid, David Reece, John Andrews and Johnathan Smith.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Logan Funeral Home.
