Daily Prayer: 07/12

Proverbs 9:10-11 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. For by me your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life.”Apart from you, O Lord, true wisdom is impossible. Other religions have some good things to say, but only you have the wisdom that makes the soul come alive to eternal assurances. Man has always had wise counsel, but secular ethics cannot touch the way that you direct us in human relationships.

We are privileged to obtain wisdom from you as revealed in Holy Scripture and through the Holy One, Jesus, that will reward us in practical areas of our lives. This will give us the “know how” of living and prevent us from acting in our own limited understanding.

Thank you for adding life to our years and years to our lives. May wisdom give judgment to this one who now prays in all that life presents today.
