Mrs. Olena Sellers Adams: Obituary

Mrs. Olena Sellers Adams age 76 of Ellijay died Monday July 20, 2015.

Mrs. Adams was born April 16, 1939 in Gilmer County the daughter of the late Charles and Eva Cochran Sellers. She worked as pre-school teacher for a number of years as the Director of The Little Red School in East Ellijay, later operating Sellers Apple House and she was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Leonard Adams.

Survivors include; Son and daughter-in-law: Lee and Donna Adams, Lawrenceville, Brother: Dewey Sellers, Central America, Sister: Sister: Faye Sellers Mather, Australia, Nieces and nephews; Jack Adams, Jr, Tyler and Devin Mather, Angie Ledford and Charles Sellers.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Kerr officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home
