“Do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.” Philippians 2:14-16.O Lord, how blessed our lives would be if we could just live without grumbling and questioning why things happen to us. All around us are those who view our actions and wonder if our faith has any validity. Especially, we do not want to give such a weak witness to those who are not far from the gate of the Kingdom.
Help us to shine as a light in someone’s darkness today. We want to be true to the word of life which we have embraced at the core of our beings. Then those who have taught us the truth and led us to Christ will not have labored in vain.
