Daily Prayer: 09/03

Psalm 23: 1 “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”O Shepherd of our souls, we have no want of anything for you have supplied all of our needs. You have given provision of things both material and spiritual. There is serenity in the green pastures and beside the still waters. We thank you for restoring us when we wander astray and for helping us walk in the paths of righteousness. We could not walk through the valleys of life without your companionship. Victory is our watchword in the face of our enemies.

Every day we have your spiritual grace of goodness and mercy with us. All of this because you are our Shepherd.

May this person who reads this prayer just now be able to say, “The Lord is my Shepherd.”

Amen.
