Morris Edward Sitten: Obituary

Mr. Morris Edward Sitten, age 76 of Chatsworth, GA passed Monday September 21, 2015.

Mr. Sitten was born May 26, 1939 in Ellijay, GA to the late Ferris and Erna Sitten. He was a member of the Harvest Missionary Church. He is preceded in death by two brothers, F.C. Sitten and Ray Sitten and two sisters, Blondie Pritchett and Merneil Finley.

Morris leaves behind to cherish his memory: Ms. Shirley Scott, his beloved companion of 25 years; his son, Mr. Gary Sitten and his wife Stacey of Newman, GA; His daughter, Mrs. Angie Trammel and her husband James of Winder, GA; and his son, Mr. Greg Sitten of Talking Rock, GA; and Step son, Mr. Greg Scott and his wife Diane, of Michigan City, IN; his grandchildren are David and Mandy Sitten, Bryan Sitten, Caleb Sitten, Graham and Kara Trammel, Joshua and Katelyn Kessinger, Jessica Kessinger, Jacob Kessinger, Nicholas Scott and Lydia Scott. His great grandchildren, Abigail Sitten, Grady Sitten, David Sitten, Ian Sitten, Jynacie Reed and Dallas Turner. Also surviving are his sisters, Sue Bowers and Catherine Cantrell. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews cousins and many close friends.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday September 24th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. John Orr and Greg Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday September 23rd from 4pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
