Michael J. Savage: Obituary

Mr. Michael J. Savage age 54 of Ellijay, GA passed away Saturday October 10, 2015.

Mr. Savage was born October 25, 1960 in France, he was raised in Gainesville, GA and Doraville, GA.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ellijay, GA., attended college at North Georgia College and Southern Poly Tech in Marietta, GA and was the owner/operator for Southern Surveying and Planning Inc. in Ballground, GA. He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence L. Savage, II.

Mr. Savage will be remembered for his gentle spirit, love for his family and love for animals.

Left to cherish his memory, wife of 26 years, Holly Savage; daughters, Ashley Morgan Savage and Lindsay Anne Savage, both of Ellijay, GA; mother, Tilli K. Savage, of Jasper, GA; brother, Lawrence L. Savage, III, of Ballground, GA; many others who loved him dearly.

Graveside services will be held Thursday October 15th at 2pm from the Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville, GA with Rev. Ed Dickens officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday October 14th from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
