Gilmer County Teacher of the Year

The Gilmer County Board of Education Congratulated its Teachers of the Year at Monday nights Work Session, October 12. Each school’s Teacher of the Year will receive $500 to be spent in their classroom.

The Honored Teachers included:

EPS – LeeAnne Destito
EES – Rhonda Sanford
MVE – Jessica Morrow
GMS – Sarah West
CCMS – Walt Monroe
GHS – Janet Davis

While each school presented its Teachers of the Year, there was one who won the additional $500 for her classroom as the overall system Teacher of the Year, Ms. Jessica Morrow.
