Mr. Roy F. “Cricket” Woods: Obituary

Mr. Roy F. “Cricket” Woods, age 66, of Miramar Beach, FL, died Monday November 30, 2015.

Mr. Woods was born March 25, 1949 in Gilmer County the son of the late George and Jo Hazel Coffey Wood. Mr. Wood was a     retired salesman and at the time of his death was a condo manager.

Survivors include: daughter; Chantel Woods, Cumming, brothers and sisters-in-law: Gene Jones, Ellijay, Mack and Linda Wood,   East Ellijay, Ruel “Brownie” and Carol Wood, Chattanooga, TN, Ermel Jones, Anderson, CA, Richard and Angela Wood, East Ellijay, sisters; Pauline Medford, Cartersville, and Christine Shumatt, Nevada, TX, several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday December 8, 2015 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with family and friends officiating. Interment will be in the Scrougetown Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Tuesday December 8, 2015 from 10:00am until the funeral hour at 2:00pm.
