Mr. Jeffery P. Hunter Sr., age 57 of Ellijay, Ga. died Saturday, April 23, 2016.
Mr. Hunter was born August 3, 1958 in Rock Hill SC the son of the late Thomas and Lola Mooney Hunter. He was a 1976 graduate of Gilmer High School, worked for the Community Action Agency and was a member of the Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Wife: Brenda Hunter, Children and spouse: Jeffery Hunter, Jr, Joseph and Toni Hunter, Jill Hunter all of Ellijay, Sister and brother-in-law: Beth and David O’Donnell, Ellijay, Brothers and sisters-in-law: Tommy and Edie Hunter, Dale and Angie Hunter all of Ellijay, 5 grandchildren Tabitha, Natallie, Justice, Khloe and Irelan Hunter also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00pm from the Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Mooney and Elder Paul Mooney officiating. Interment will be in the N.R. Mooney Memorial Gardens.
The family will meet with friends Monday from 4 until 9pm and all day Tuesday until 9pm at the funeral home.
