Mrs. Charlotte Ledford Meeks: Obituary

Mrs. Charlotte Ledford Meeks age 67 of Ellijay, GA died Saturday July 16, 2016.

Mrs. Meeks was born May 8, 1949 in Pickens County, daughter of the late Wilson and Ovaline McArthur Ledford. She was a Pickens High School Graduate and worked for Grandview Nursing Home as a Nurses Aid. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifton Stewart Meeks; brother, Clifford Ledford and sister, Estar McClure.

Survivors Include: son, Michael Meeks, of Ellijay, GA; brothers, Rois Ledford, of Talking Rock, GA, Steve Ledford, of Talking Rock, GA and Kenneth Ledford, of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Rosa Nell Aaron, of Ashville, NC and Carrie Waddell, of Ellijay, GA; 2 grandchildren, Minna Lynn Meeks and Kyle Meeks.

Funeral Services will be held Monday July 18th at 4pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday July 17th from 2pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

The family request no food be brought to the funeral home.
