Ms. Eunice Mae Findley Dotson: Obituary

Ms. Eunice Mae Findley Dotson, age 81 of Ellijay, GA passed on Thursday afternoon, August 18th, 2016.

Ms. Dotson was born July 21st, 1935 in Ellijay, GA to her late parents, James Clem Findley and Myrtle Goble Findley. She was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church and worked for Gold Kist as an inspector. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ira A. Dotson, sisters, Lillian Ledford, Irene Hamby, Nell Newell, Ruby Lee Hyde and Louise Parks, brothers Dewell Findley, Howard Findley and Truman Findley.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Melissa Dotson of Ellijay, GA; Grandchildren, Jennifer Dotson Staton, Destiny Dotson, Christina Geister, Jessica Dotson, Hannah Dotson, Faithlynn Merrell and Israel Merrell; Great grandchildren, Lauren Gibbs, Shaelyn Bethel, Peyton Dotson and Lilly Staton; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 20th, 2016 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in the Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Findley, Thomas Fortune, Alvin Findley, Terry Findley, Gary Hyde, David William Garrett Albertson, Jack Staton, and Tim Parks.

Family will receive friends from 4pm until 9pm on Friday, August 19th, 2016 at the Logan Funeral Home.
