Mr. Phillip Rowland Dillard: Obituary

Phillip Rowland Dillard, age 66 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at the Gilmer Nursing Home.

Phil was born January 17th, 1950 in Ellijay, Georgia to his late parents Francis Everett “Jug” and Alice Craigo Dillard. He was of the Baptist faith, owned and operated North 5 Auto and loved to fish.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Lynn and Lisa Dillard of Ellijay, GA and Les and Melinda Dillard of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren Kevin Dillard, Levi Dillard, Samantha Dillard, Cole Dillard, Jodi Morgan, Daniel DeBoard and Bryce DeBoard; great grandchildren, Jackson Dillard, Landan DeBoard, Kyler Voyles and Paisley DeBoard; Companion Bonnie Pickleseymer Ball of Morganton, GA; Sister, Jan Dillard Langford of Chatsworth, GA; brothers Billy Dillard of Ellijay, GA and Gilbert Lee Dillard of Chatsworth, GA; Several nephews, cousins, and a host of loved ones and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 31st, 2016 from the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. Interment will follow in the Dillard Family Cemetery with Lynn Dillard, Les Dillard, Michael Dillard, Levi Dillard, Kevin Dillard and Cole Dillard serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2016, at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion.
