Waddell Pins Scholarship to Oklahoma

Matthew Waddell, a local Gilmer High School Student, has officially received a scholarship to the University of Oklahoma.

Signing with the University, Waddell was joined by coaches Walt Monroe, Bo Dorsey, Sam Snider, Doug Haynes, Joshua Snider, Casey Wingard, aand Greg Wingo as well as his parents Mark and Lisa Waddell.

Waddell takes a lot with him to join Oklahoma as he is a two-time Georgia State Champion, Junior Nationals All-American, he placed third at the 2016 NHSCA Junior Nationals, and was a sixth-place finisher at the 2016 Super 32 Challenge.
