Mr. William Floyd Anderson, age 82, of Ellijay died Friday January 6, 2016.
Mr. Anderson was born August 15, 1934 in Gilmer County, the son of the late William and Carrie Brown Anderson. He was a mechanic and of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by parents and brothers, Clarence “Andy” Anderson and his twin brother Robert Anderson.
Survivors include: daughter, Freddie Nicholson, Ellijay, son; Jackie Anderson, Ellijay, 5 grandchildren: 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Dews, Atlanta, Frances McClure, Dalton, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 10, at 11:00am from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Monday from 4 until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
