Mrs. Magreta Maria Gatewood Spickard, age 83 of Evans, GA formerly of Ellijay, GA, passed Sunday, January 8th, 2017.
Mrs. Spickard was born December 11th, 1933 in Springfield, MO to her late parents Enis and Grada Mickelson Gatewood. She held a bachelors degree in accounting and was a homemaker. Magreta is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Philip “Jerry” Spickard.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan Jennifer and Chris Landon of Evans, GA; son and daughter-in-law Brian and Sandra Ann Spickard of Stuart, FL and her grandchildren, Sadie Grace Landon and Hunter Christian Landon.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, January 15th, 2017 from the Cartecay United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating.
