Mr. John David “Johnny” Rymer, age 63 of Ellijay, died Thursday January 19, 2017.
Mr. Rymer was born in Fannin County, GA on August 18, 1953 to Annie Mae Lowery Rymer and the late Sweed. He was a heavy equipment operator and of the Baptist. He is preceded in death by Children; John David Rymer and Sabrina Gibson, Father; Sweed Rymer Brothers; Robert, Oliver and Jimmy Rymer.
Survivors include: Wife; Betty Rymer of Ellijay, Son; Shane Rymer of Robbinsville, NC, Daughter & Son-in-law; Amanda & Jason Pettyjohn of Ellijay, Mother; Annie Mae Rymer of Ellijay, Brothers & Sisters-in-law; Arnold & Evelyn Rymer of Ellijay, Van & JoAnn Rymer of Blue Ridge, Gary & April Rymer of Ellijay, Larry Rymer of Ellijay, Spencer Rymer of Chatsworth, Sisters & Brothers-in-law; Elizabeth Eaton of Ellijay, Mary Margaret & Mack Baker of Blue Ridge, Katy & Robert Standridge of Ellijay, Grandchildren; Christian Rymer , Breanna & Maci Pettyjohn, David & Quincy Rymer.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday January 22, 2017 at 2:00pm from the Bernhardt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed O’Neal and Rev. Billy Dotson officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday January 21, from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
