“Parent Math Night” at Mountain View

Fourth grade teachers at Mountain View Elementary School held a “Parent Math Night” on Tuesday, March 14th. The teachers invited parents to come learn about how math is taught in their classroom so parents can help their children with homework and math practice.  The parents were very excited about learning the new strategies and techniques that are being taught in their children’s classrooms.. Mrs. Sarah Thorne (MVE Music teacher and Parental Involvement Coordinator) provided free childcare for any kids who came along with their parents.  This night was a success and plans are being made to include more of these next school year.
