Mrs. Agnes Ray Reece Ballew, age 88 of Ellijay, died Friday, March 17, 2017, at Pruitt Health of Blue Ridge.
Agnes was born Oct. 2, 1928, in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Newton and Mary Collis Ray. She was a member of the Pleasant Gap Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Ed Reece, son, Ricky Reece, son-in-law Billy Teague and brother; Warren Ray.
Survivors include husband; Leeman Ballew, daughters and son–in-law; Linda Reece Teague, and Debra and Roy Clark all of Ellijay, grandchildren and spouses, David and Chandra Teague, Adam Teague, Robby and Ginger Teague Cantrell. Great-grandchildren, William and Ella Teague, Matthew and Logan Teague, Emily, Tyler ad Levi Cantrell.
A private burial was held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church cemetery where she is now resting by her first husband Ed Reece.
