Ms. Brenda Chastain Alexander: Obituary

Ms. Brenda Chastain Alexander, 71 of Ellijay, Wednesday, May 17, 2017.

Ms. Alexander was a homemaker and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping and baking, but most of all spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Patricia Lyn Alexander Vick, Sharon Dawn Alexander Haim, and parents John and Gladys Chastain.

Survivors include: her children David Alexander and Dee Sanford (Allan) Cain; siblings, Pat (Forest) Kellogg, Layne Chastain and Mark (Ahna) Chastain; grandchildren, Tiffani, Brittney, Jordan, Jaida, Niccole and Kara; great-grandchildren, Chandler, J.B. Gracie, Macie, Bryson, Riley, Chloe, Peyton, and Sayler: host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be; J.B. Sanford, Nathan Cain, Allan Cain, Emory Chastain, Jimmy Dixon, John Dixon and Clinton Sanford.

Funeral services will be held Friday, at 2:00pm, from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Robbie Chastain, Rev. Joey Phillips and Rev. Scott Chastain officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Thursday from 3:00 until 8:00pm and Friday from 11:00am until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
