Mrs. Winifred Josephine Scigliano: Obituary

Mrs. Winifred Josephine Scigliano, age 86, of Ellijay died Monday July 17, 2017.

Mrs. Scigliano was born May 13, 1931, in New York City the daughter of the late Patrick and Marie Heslin Dunleavy. She worked as a manager of a flower shop and was a member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Joseph Scigliano, Sr., son, Joseph Scigliano, Jr. and sister; Marie DiCaprio.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law: Sheree and James O’Neill, Ellijay, grandchildren and spouses, Kellee and Jason Johnson, Danyel and Jenny O’Neill. Great grandchildren; Kaylee and Tyler Davenport, Rylee Johnson, Sawyer Johnson, Jackson O’Neill, James O’Neill and Declan O’Neill.

Funeral mass will be held Thursday at 11:00am from the Good Samaritan Catholic Church with Father Carlos Vargas officiating. Interment will be Monday July 24, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Georgia National Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 5 until 9pm at the funeral home.
