Mr. Angel Louis Alonso: Obituary

Mr. Angel Louis Alonso, age 86 of Ellijay, GA passed on Saturday evening, July 29th, 2017.

Mr. Alonso was born September 23rd, 1930 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico to his late father and mother, Candido Alonso and Lydia Perez. He served his country honorably in the United States Army in the Korean war. Angel retired from the New York Transit Authority where he worked as a Machinist. He is preceded in death by his Brother, Carlos Alonso.

He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Carlos And Laurie Alonso of Atlanta, GA and Larry And Laura Lea Alonso of Ellijay, GA, Grandchildren, Louis, Lorenzo, Louisa, Lazarus, Lucy Nell And Leo Alonso, sister, Norma Berk of Melbourne, FL.

Military Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday August 2, 2017 at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Military honors performed by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
