Mrs. Patsy Ann Blankenship DeFoor, age 72 of Ellijay Georgia passed on Saturday morning, August 5th, 2017.
Mrs. DeFoor was born on July 20th, 1945, in Ellijay, Georgia to her late parents John L. and Eunice Ophelia Sitton Blankenship. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, and a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1963. Mrs. DeFoor was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband Ruel DeFoor.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Tammie & Terry Payne of Ellijay, Georgia, Tracie & Jamie Clayton of Ellijay, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Tammy DeFoor of Ellijay, Georgia; grandchildren Jessica P. Green, Isaac Defoor, and Noah DeFoor; nephews Corey and Tim DeFoor; best friend Pat Pritchett also survives.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 7th, 2017 in the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Beason, Rev. Jerry Banks and Rev. Johnny Beason officiating. Music and song performed by the Clayton Family. Interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Clayton, Terry Payne, Dustin Green, Benny Dotson, Wilburn DeFoor, and James DeFoor. Grady Crook, Roy Abercrombie and Jim Dotson served as honorary pallbearers.
Family will receive friends from 2 until 8 P.M. on Sunday, August 6th, 2017 at the Logan Funeral Home.
