Mrs. Leah Ellen Moore, age 78, of Ellijay, died Friday September 8, 2017.
Mrs. Moore was born July 6, 1939 in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Dewey and Jewell Sisson Rogers, She was a homemaker and member of the Rock Creek Baptist Church. Her parents and husband Stan Moore preceded her in death.
Survivors include: sons; Tim Dover, Kennesaw, William Dover, Ellijay, James Dover, Woodstock, Inman Moore, Hiawassee, 11 grandchildren, brother; George Rogers, Blue Ridge, sisters; Barbara McVey, Judy Beavers, both of Ellijay, Betty Chastain, Cherry Log, and Gertrude Gallman, Calhoun, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 4:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home.
The family will meet with friends Saturday from 3:00pm until 4:00pm at the funeral home.
