Mrs. Fairy Ann Evans Hyde: Obituary

Mrs. Fairy Ann Evans Hyde, age 80 of Ellijay, formerly of Jasper, died Monday September 18,2017.

Mrs. Hyde was born August 6, 1937, the daughter of the late Bennie and Leola Evans. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1957, a homemaker and member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church. Her parents and husband James Hyde preceded her in death.

Survivors include: sisters and brother-in-law’s; Jerline and Jerry Farist, Shirley Crooke and Sue Reece all of Ellijay, Frankie and Richard Englesby, Powder Springs, brother and sister-in- law; Ronnie and Mona Evans, Ellijay, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Banks, Rev. Billy Dotson and Rev. Scott Watkins officiating. Interment will be in the Clear Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Family also would respectfully request no food be brought to the funeral home.
