Mrs. Jo Painter McClure: Obituary

Mrs. Jo Painter McClure, age 76, of Ellijay died Sunday October 15, 2017.

Mrs. McClure was born April 28, 1941, in Gilmer County the late Ralph and Agnes Rogers Painter. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1959, retired from Wal-Mart as a Department Manager and member of the Turniptown Baptist Church for 64 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Survivors include: Husband of 55 years, Harvey McClure, sons and daughters-in-law; Andy and Chasity McClure, Shane and Noel McClure, all of Ellijay, grandchildren, Riley, Jesse, Beth and A.J. McClure, brothers and sister-in-law: Austin Painter, Cartersville, Fred and Jody Painter, Big Springs, TX. also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:00pm from the Turniptown Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Cantrell, Rev. Steve Jones, Rev. Bobby Green and Rev. Russell Burt officiating. Congregational singing will be held from 2:00pm until the funeral hour of 3:00pm.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Tuesday Oct. 17, 2017 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at the Turniptown Baptist Church 3262 Turniptown Rd Ellijay,GA.
