Mr. Donald F.” Duck” Walker: Obituary

Mr. Donald F.” Duck” Walker, age 74, of Ellijay, died Friday October 27, 2017.

Mr. Walker was born December 23, 1942, in Gilmer County the son of the late Harold and Eunice Williams Walker. He was a high school graduate, a veteran serving in Vietnam, and was owner of Walkers Barbeque and Fried Pies. His parents, and sister; Barbara Walker Evans preceded him in death.

Survivors include; sons and daughters-in-law; Nathan and Samantha Walker, Russell and Lauren Walker all of Ellijay, brothers; Jim Walker, Vernon Beach, FL and Ronald “Hoss” Walker, Ellijay, 5 grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Wendell Hester officiating. Interment will be in the Turniptown Baptist Church cemetery with military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will meet with friends Sunday from 2pm until 9 pm at the funeral home.
