Mr. Mearle D. Beaver, age 70 of Ellijay, GA, died Friday November 3, 2017.

Mr. Beaver May 3, 1947, in Fannin County the son of the late August Beaver and Farrell Welch Beaver. He was a graduate of West Fannin High School, was a veteran, and member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. He and his wife owned Fannin Tobacco in Blue Ridge, Appalachian Furniture in Jasper.

Survivors Include: Wife, Judy Rogers Beaver, Daughters; Jeanne Bagwell, Sharon DeFoor, step-sons; Jason and Cory Jones, brothers; Newell and Ann Beaver, Billy and Joyce Beaver, Ray and Barbara Beaver, sister; Barbara Jean Jarmin, Sister-in laws; Trudy Gallman, Barbara and Jimmy McVey, Betty and Tom Chastain, George and Clara Rogers, 2 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Burt, Rev. Michael Cantrell and Rev.Roger Burgess officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery with graveside rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will meet with friends Sunday from 6 until 9pm at the funeral home.
