Mrs. Cleo Sarah Milton, age 103, of Ellijay, died Tuesday November 14, 2017.

Mrs. Milton was born May 30, 1914, in Fannin County the daughter of the late, John Clayton and Vadie Patterson Thomas. She graduated from Raburn Gap Nachoochee School, worked as a teachers-aid in Gilmer County schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay, where she taught Sunday School for over 25 years. Her parents, husband, Herbert L. Milton, daughter and son-in-law; Sandy and Ken Payne, preceded her in death.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law; Mary and Mark Kenady, Roswell, son and daughter-in-law; Ronnie and Carolyn Milton, Buckhead, grandchildren and spouses, Robin and Kevin Hornsby, Brent and Debra Milton, Dean Payne, Holly Payne, Katie and A.J. Argentia, Matt Abbott, Casey and Brian Price, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. James Holt officiating. Interment will be in the East Ellijay Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 11:00am until the funeral hour of 1:00pm at the funeral home.
