Mrs. Jewell Davis DeFoor, age 87 of Ellijay died Friday December 8, 2017.
Mrs. DeFoor was born September 19, 1930 in Gilmer County. She worked at Robertshaw Controls, was a member of the Flat Branch Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her mother Millie Davis Logan and husband Ernest DeFoor.
Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law’s; Elaine and Winston Cantrell, Ellijay, Ernestine and Ronnie Dale, Ellijay. Several Niece’s and a Nephew also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:00pm from the Flat Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Withrow, Rev. Lamer Beason and Rev. Franklin Harper officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Flat Branch Baptist Church in care of Winston Cantrell 2723 Big Creek Rd. Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of Mrs. DeFoor.
The family will meet with friends Saturday from 2 until 9pm at the funeral home.
