Tech Bytes: 3-D Printing

Printing in Three Dimensions! Learn step-by step how our Lulzbot Mini 3-D printer works, how to find items to print, how you can order your own 3-D prints from the library, then see the printer in action, and take home a free 3-D printed souvenir.

Family Story Time
Wednesday, March 7 @ 10:30AM & 4:00 PM
Family story times are designed for families with children of all ages. Story time is followed by a craft activity. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

It’s Teen Tech Week! Come learn about 3-D printing technology and how you can use it at the library. Grades 6-12

Master Gardeners: Planting for Pollinators
Thursday, March 1 @ 6:00 PM
Join the Gilmer County Master Gardeners for a program on how to entice the pollinators to your garden. Presented by Debbie Rup and Karen Hyde. Refreshment provided.

 

The Friends of the Library Bookshelf

Remember that the library welcomes donations of gently read books and magazines. Those that the library does not need come to the Bookshelf, with all the proceeds benefiting the library.  Do not forget to visit the “back room” of the Bookshelf for newly stocked non-fiction and magazines.  

Bookshelf hours are from 10:30-5:30 on weekdays and from 12:00-2:00 on Saturdays
