Brenda Key Smith: Obituary

Mrs. Brenda Key Smith, age 60, of Ellijay, died Tuesday March 6, 2018.

Mrs. Smith was born July 14, 1957, in, Pickens County the daughter of the late Hugh Brown and Ruth Easley Richards. She worked in accounting for Gilmer County Bank. Her husband Roy Smith preceded her in death.

Survivors include children, Derek Key, Michelle Abercrombie and Dedra Key De Chavez, brothers; George and Lenn Richards, sisters: Ellouise Silvers, Della Mae Stanley, Loretta Sharples and Lynette Goswick, 3 grandchildren, Dawson Abercrombie, Dylan Abercrombie, and Kalli Bassett also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00pm from the East Ellijay Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Kelly and Rev. Steve Fields officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 2 pm to 9;00pm and Thursday from 10 until 9pm at the funeral home.
