James C. Sluder, Sr.: Obituary

Mr. James C. Sluder, Sr. better known as “J.C.” age 76 of Ellijay, GA passed on Tuesday morning, March 6th, 2018 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital of Marietta.

Mr. Sluder was born May 22nd, 1941 to his late parents Willie Sluder and Roxie Frost Sluder. He was of the Christian faith, studied the Bible, and he served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He also worked at Lockheed Martin for 20 years as an Assembly Line Worker.

He is survived by his daughter: Kim Land & Danny Willis of Ellijay, GA, son: James C. Sluder, Jr. of Ellijay, GA; Sister: Pauline Sluder Mull of Ellijay, GA, one brother: Jim Lee Sluder of Dial, GA; and Life Partner: Glenda Garland of Ellijay, GA; Grandchildren are, Shay & Matt Wright, Kain, Kyle, And Lexie Sluder.

A private family memorial service is being planned and will be held at a later date.
