Rose Marie Griffin Easley: Obituary

Mrs. Rose Marie Griffin Easley age 74 of Ellijay, GA died Sunday March 18, 2018.

Mrs. Easley was born April 12, 1943 in Gilmer County to the late Clay and Alene Perry Griffin. She graduated from Gilmer High School class of 1961. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Easley.

She is survived by her son, Michael Ray Easley, of Ellijay, GA; her daughter and son in-law, Mike and Vera Sales, of Ellijay, GA; brothers Raymond Griffin, of Ellijay, GA and Bill Griffin, of Marietta, GA; sister, Helen Craig, Chatsworth, GA; 2 grandchildren, Brittany Sales Parks and Matthew Sales, both of Ellijay, GA; 4 great grandchildren, Hayden Sales, Lakelyn Sales, Kollin Parks and Kellin Parks.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 21st at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Easley officiating. Music will be by Hannah Sales. Pallbearers will be Stephen Craig, Matthew Sales, Troy Parks, Tony Easley, Tracy Easley and Kyle Easley. Interment will follow in the Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
