Mrs. Marie Davis Chancey, age 98 of Mobile, AL, formerly of Ellijay, GA, passed Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 at the Gulf Coast Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Chancey was born February 10th, 1920 in Mineral Bluff, GA to her late parents Joseph and Faith Richards Chancey. She worked as a lab technician for Frito Lay. Mrs. Chancey is preceded in death by her husband, William H. Chancey, Jr.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, William H. “Bill”, III and Patricia Chancey of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, William H. Chancey, IV, Julie A. Mackenzie, and Joseph C. Chancey; great grandchildren, Caleb C. Chancey, Payton J. Mackenzie and Zachary J. Mackenzie also survive.
Interment will take place in the Ellijay City Cemetery.
