Kenneth W. Buckner: Obituary

Mr. Kenneth W. Buckner age 58 of Ellijay, GA died Wednesday June 6, 2018.

Mr. Buckner was born July 15, 1959 in Gilmer County to the late Ernest, Sr. and Ethel Moss Buckner. He retired from the City of Ellijay and was a member of the Old Faith Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Debra Plumley and his parents.

Survivors include: daughter and son in-law, Wendy Pierce and Jeremy Garrett, of Ellijay, GA; brothers, Ernest, Jr., Jimmy, and William Buckner, all of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Mildred Lacey, of Ellijay, GA, Louise Buckner, of Ellijay, Gam Annie Mae Carver, of Jasper, GA and Mary Vick, of Ellijay, GA; 5 grandchildren, Santara Pierce, Ronald Pierce, Mackenzie Pierce, Liam Garrett and McKayla Garrett; 1 great grandchildren, Laylah Arreaga.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 9^th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Wright and Rev. Emuel Sanford officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday June 8^th from 11am until 9pm at the funeral home.
