Orville Kenneth Welch, Jr.: Obituary

Mr. Orville Kenneth Welch, Jr., age 68 of Ellijay, GA passed Sunday afternoon, June 10^th, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Welch was born January 2^nd, 1950 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to his late parents, Orville Kenneth Welch, Sr. and Betty Jane Lyke Welch.  He served honorably in the United States Army and worked as a tank installer for Petro Mechanical.  Kenneth is preceded in death by his daughter Sarah Welch and brother Michael Welch.

He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Welch of Michigan; brother, David Welch of Ellijay, GA; sister-in-law, Cathy Welch of Washington; special friends, Tammy and Dave Shepard of Michigan also survive.

A private family memorial service is being planned and will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516 in memory of Mr. Welch.
