Dianne Lynne Viau Scott: Obituary

Dianne Lynne Viau Scott passed away on June 12, 2018, twelve days after her 68th birthday.

Dianne was born in Newton, Massachusetts to her late parents William Edward and Elsie Gwendolyn Lord Viau.   She resided for many years in Florida before retiring to the mountains of Ellijay, Georgia.  She treasured spending time with her family and grandchildren, especially.  Dianne touched many lives in her career as a nurse and will be missed by so many she leaves behind, both near and far, friends, relatives and loved ones.  She is preceded in death by her mother Elsie Gwendolyn Kuck, father William Viau, and grandparents Edith and Joe Lord.

Dianne leaves behind her beloved husband of 32 years, Patrick “Popop” Scott in Ellijay, GA, devoted daughter Danielle Corbin (Kim) in Palm Harbor, FL, devoted daughter Gwendolyn Call (Brittan) in Ellijay, GA, adoring grandchildren, Madelyn Rasch in Palm Harbor, FL, Ellery Call and Oliver Call, Ellijay, GA, and beloved brother Richard Viau (Lassie) in Londonderry, NH, beloved cousins, Peter Curtin and Nancy Caperton also survive.

A memorial mass will be held at 11AM on Saturday, June 23^rd, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes, located at 750 San Salvador Drive, Dunedin, FL 34698.  A reception will be held following the church service to celebrate the life of Dianne, and all family and close friends are invited to attend from 1pm until 4pm at Bon Appetit, located at 148 Marina Plaza, Dunedin, FL 34698.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Chimp Project, P.O. Box 2140, Blue Ridge, Ga 30513 or to the American Cancer Society, 250 Williams Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30303 in memory of Mrs. Scott.
