Danny Wayne McClure: Obituary

Mr. Danny Wayne McClure, age 70 of the Tails Creek community Ellijay, GA passed on Saturday evening, July 21st, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. McClure was born April 12th, 1948 in Ellijay to his late parents, George David McClure and Bonnie Beatrice Arnold McClure.  Danny was a member of the Ridgeway Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Miller of Chatsworth, GA, sons & daughter-in-law, Johnny & Heather McClure of Blairsville, GA and Eric Dills of Chatsworth, GA, grandchildren, Dillon & Lexie McClure, Destiny & Alex Miller, sister, Sue Davis of Ellijay, GA, brothers & sisters-in-law, Donald & Elaine McClure of Ellijay, GA, James & Glenda McClure of Ellijay, GA, Arlin & Elsie McClure of Ellijay, GA and Leon & Nina McClure of Ellijay, GA, several nieces, nephews & friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wade Davis, Rev. Randy McClure and Rev Johnny Payne officiating. Music will be by Wanda Davis, Harold Sanford and Sherry Davis. Interment will follow in the Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery with Donald McClure, James McClure, Arlin McClure, Leon McClure, Rev. Brondy Davis, Donald McClure, Jr., Anthony McClure, Jeff McClure, Kenny McClure, and Timothy Williams serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 at the Logan Funeral Home from 3:00pm-9:00pm.
