Quinton D Tucker

1967 – 2018

Mr. Quinton Derek Tucker, age 51 of Ellijay, GA passed Monday, October 22^nd, 2018 in Louisville, KY.

Mr. Tucker was born July 7^th, 1967 in Tate, GA to his late parents, Eugene and Joan Grant Tucker.  He drove a truck for Bailey Enterprises and worked for Ellijay Pawn Shop.  Quinton was of the Baptist faith.  He is preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan Tucker and nephew Jonathan Tucker.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Nelly M. Tucker of the home in Ellijay, GA; daughter, Kathlene Daniele Exie Bedsole of Ellijay, GA; sons, Damien Douglas Cobb and Justin Michael Tucker, both of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Douglas Matthew Cobb, Slennia Cox, Ashlynn Bedsole, Gracie Cox, Logan Bedsole, Mason Lernyei-Tucker and Abigail Cox; great grandchild, Exie Cobb; sister and brother-in-law, Nikki and Jim Ray of Canadian, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kelly and Linda Tucker of Ellijay, GA and Steven and Kay Tucker of Old Fort, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Jones officiating.  Graveside interment will follow in the Tucker Family Cemetery with Kelly Tucker, Justin Tucker, Damien Cobb, Steven Tucker, Matthew Cobb, and Larry Cox all serving as Pallbearers.

Family will receive friends from 4pm until 8pm on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 at the Logan Funeral Home.

Flowers are acceptable, or donations may be made to the Truckers Final Mile, 3301-R Coors Blvd. NW #293, Albuquerque, NM 87120 in memory of Mr. Tucker.
