Grady Gibson

March 4, 1924 – January 3, 2019

Mr. Grady Gibson age 94 of Ellijay, GA died Thursday January 3, 2019.

Mr. Gibson was born March 4, 1924 in Gilmer County to the late Rev. Charlie and Mary Woodring Gibson. He was a Veteran and member of the Calvary Way Baptist Church, Oak Bowery Lodge and Royal Arch. Mr. Gibson is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joe Gibson, Claude Gibson, Paul Gibson, Bill Gibson, Philip Gibson, Gomer Gibson and Jay Gibson, sister, Ruth Gibson Williams.

Survivors Include: wife, Melba Milton Gibson; son and daughter in-law, Charles and Marlene Gibson, of Ellijay, GA; daughter and son in-law, Connie and Larry Bledson, of Dalton, GA; 3 grandchildren, Kara Richardson, Jeff Patterson and Jennifer Swinford; 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday January 5^th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Martin and Rev. Emuel Sanford officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Way Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday January 5^th from 12 noon until 2pm at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted of donations may be made to the Calvary Way Baptist Church in memory of Mr. Gibson.
